Academician Tao Wenquan of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor of Xi'an Jiao Tong University, Academician Zheng Ping of the Chinese Academy of Sciences and Professor of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Yang Yongping, President of North China Electric Power University, Zhao Changying, Dean of the Sino-British International Low-Carbon College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Chief Editor of the journal "Low Carbon Energy, Environment, and Management", Lai Xiaoming, Chairman of Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange Co., Ltd., Li Xian, Publishing Director of Springer Nature Greater China Region, and members of the journal's editorial board attended the meeting in a combination of online and offline modes. In his speech, Lai Xiaoming said that Shanghai Environment and Energy Exchange has been actively exploring carbon markets in various places and establishing pilot projects for the national carbon trading market. On the afternoon of May 21st, the Low-Carbon College held the Inauguration Meeting of the Strategic Advisory Committee of Shanghai Jiao Tong University Sino-British International Low-Carbon College and the First Meeting. Huang Zhen, Vice President of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, Academician Jin Hongguang of the Institute of Engineering Thermophysics of the Chinese Academy of Sciences, Zhao Changying, Dean of the Sino-British International Low-Carbon College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University, as well as members of the Strategic Advisory Committee and experts and scholars from some domestic universities and research institutes attended the meeting in a combination of online and offline modes.
